At the time of the Forum Fellowship and QE Scholarship, Peter was an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) Program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University. Peter’s research interests include harm reduction programs, evidence-based care in cardiology, and the use of clinical whole exome and genome sequencing platforms. He aims to complete residency training in internal medicine.

As an outbound Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Peter interned at the Africa Centre for Evidence (ACE) located at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa under the supervision of Prof. Ruth Stewart. During his internship, he created evidence syntheses for policymakers regarding public engagement with information and the news in Nigera and South Africa.
