Amy Ramzy
Queen Elizabeth Scholar in Strengthening Health and Social Systems (2023)At the time of the QE Scholarship, Amy was a graduate student in the Global Health program at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University, with a specialization in Globalization and Equity. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and a Certificate of Applied Ethics and Policy from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University. Through her work as a research assistant, she has considerable experience on both qualitative and quantitative projects, with a particular interest in population-level research and health systems evaluation.
As an outbound Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Amy travelled to Trinidad and Tobago to work alongside the Caribbean Centre for Health Systems Research and Development (CCHSRD). She was excited to learn about the health systems challenges within the unique context of the Caribbean and to work towards implementing more equitable healthcare for all.
